OTC Asia, the Malaysian oil and gas exhibition, is the sister event of OTC (Offshore Technology Conference) in Houston, USA. Co-hosted by the world's four major oil and gas associations, it serves as a key platform for energy experts to exchange ideas and insights. Held biennially in Kuala Lumpur, it stands as the highest-profile oil and gas exhibition in Southeast Asia, focusing on fields such as offshore drilling, environmental protection technologies, and equipment manufacturing, and attracting global leading enterprises including Shell, Baker Hughes, and Halliburton to participate.

OTC Asia 2024 featured over 70 thematic conferences covering more than 40 technical areas such as deep-sea technology, digital transformation, and renewable energy. Over 380 industry leaders and experts conducted discussions on topics like "Applications of AI in Oil and Gas Development" and "Integration of Offshore Wind Power and Hydrogen Energy". The event drew over 23,000 participants and more than 4,700 organizations from over 80 countries worldwide, including over 40 national oil companies (NOCs) and international oil companies (IOCs). Meanwhile, 190 exhibitors showcased cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS), and hydrogen energy.
